"Support never really followed up"
I had a problem with my order and emailed customer support a couple of times. I might’ve missed something, but I never got a real response back, and it kind of felt like no one was checking the inbox. It’s frustrating, especially when it involves food. I probably won’t be ordering again.

"Delivery fee seems fair"
I’ve ordered from Good Eggs a handful of times now, and the delivery fee feels reasonable to me. It’s not one of those weirdly high fees that makes you rethink your whole cart at the last second. I also like that I can see the cost before checkout, because surprise fees are the worst. Kind of like when you go in for one coffee and somehow leave with a muffin too, but that’s a separate problem. For the time it saves me from going to the store, parking, wandering around, and forgetting the one thing I actually needed, it feels worth it. No real complaints here.

"Pretty good meals, honestly"
Meals are usually fresh. Taste good too. I like the convenience. Some portions feel a little small for the price. But overall, I’m happy ordering again
"Cold items arrived warm and support was frustrating"
My Good Eggs order showed up with the ice packs already melted and the dairy feeling way too warm. A few things were literally sweating in the bag, so I didn’t feel comfortable eating them. When I reached out to support, it took a while to hear back, and the response felt kind of condescending, like I didn’t understand how delivery works. It just seemed like the cold chain wasn’t handled properly. I won’t be ordering chilled items from them again.

My groceries showed up late again, which was frustrating because I was trying to plan dinner around the delivery. It was not the best experience.

"Frustrating website and way too many reminders"
I got fed up trying to use the site. It was hard to find what I needed, and when I finally got to checkout it kept freezing on me. I gave it about ten minutes before I just gave up. On top of that, the reminders were way too aggressive, like constant nudges when I was already annoyed with the process.

"Terrible communication about my order"
The communication was really poor. No updates at all. I had to keep chasing to find out what was happening with my order. Frustrating.

I found some of the produce to be fresh, but a few items were already bruised or looking rough. It kind of seemed like nobody had really checked through the section before putting it out

"Love the low-waste vibe"
I really like that they use local ingredients and reusable packaging. It feels way better than my usual grocery run, tbh. Less waste, fresher stuff, and just a nicer experience overall.

The steaks were good and the shrimp tasted fresh enough, so overall the food was fine. I just felt a little misled based on what I expected, like it was made out to be better than it actually was.

"Nice to finally find real local food"
I really like shopping here because the local stuff actually tastes fresh. Kind of makes you wonder what some other places are calling “local,” but this spot feels like the real deal
"Fresh stuff, but it gets expensive fast"
I’ll give them credit, the produce was good and a few things were definitely fresher than what I usually grab at the store. But wow, the total adds up quickly. Once you factor in the delivery fee, tip, and the fact that some items already seem marked up, it just didn’t feel worth it for a normal grocery run. A couple things were also smaller than I expected for what I paid, which was a little frustrating. It’s convenient for sure, and I like the idea of it, but value-wise I don’t see myself using it very often.

"I was really disappointed when my order showed..."
I was really disappointed when my order showed up in a soggy box. The ice pack had leaked everywhere, the fruit was bruised, and one of the yogurts was cracked open. For groceries that cost this much, the packaging should’ve been way more careful. I get that things happen in delivery, but this felt completely avoidable, and the company needs to own up to it. I won’t be ordering again unless they actually fix how they pack and handle orders.

"Convenient and good quality, but not cheap"
I use Good Eggs every now and then when I really don’t feel like making a grocery run, and to be fair, the quality has been solid. The produce has been fresh, and the meat I’ve ordered was good too, so I don’t have much to complain about there.
The main downside is the cost. Some things feel reasonably priced, but other items are pricey compared to my usual grocery store, and once you add in fees and a tip, it starts to add up fast.
I still like having it as an option when I’m busy or just want the convenience, but I wouldn’t use it for my regular weekly shopping. It’s good, just definitely more of a treat than an everyday thing for me.

"Substitutions Can Be a Bit Hit or Miss"
Overall, I appreciate the service and it’s usually convenient, but the substitutions don’t always work out for me. Sometimes they pick something totally fine, and other times I really wish they had checked with me first before swapping an item

"Why is the delivery always late?"
I gave them a couple of chances, but both of my orders showed up late. And when the cold items arrive warm, what am I supposed to do with that? At this point, why keep trying? I’m done ordering from them

"Delivery could’ve been better"
The food itself was fine, about what I expected, but the delivery part wasn’t great. Compared to other drivers I’ve had who at least say hi or let me know where they left the bags, this driver seemed annoyed when I asked. No greeting, no apology, just kind of walked off. Not the best experience.

"Bakery was just okay, dairy was better"
I stopped in for some bread and a few dairy items, and it was a mixed bag. The milk and dairy stuff seemed fresh enough, which was good, but the pastries were kind of dry and didn’t really feel worth the price. It wasn’t terrible, but I had that stuck feeling like I’d already made the trip and had to just settle for what was there. Average overall.
